  •  We are looking for scrap paper for the children to draw on please donate if you can Thank you. We are also looking for children’s magazines/comics to add to our reading corner.

  • Grapes – If you pack grapes in your child’s lunch box can we please request that you slice them lengthways to avoid risk of choking.

 

Forthcoming events

​

Mother’s Day; to celebrate the women in your child’s life we are hosting an afternoon Tea on Wednesday 18th March in the pre-school from 1.30, this will be an opportunity for you to have Tea/coffee and cake, chat to staff and see how your children learn through play J if you would like to bring a cake to share, please do, pre-school will provide the liquid refreshments ;)

 

World book day – Week beginning 2nd March, your child can come dressed as their favourite character and bring in a book to be read.

On Thursday 5th March, we are inviting the children, whose regular session it is to come in their pyjamas; everyone enjoys a bedtime story, and if your child would like to bring in their favourite book for a member of staff to read, please do.

 

Red Nose DayWeek beginning 16th March. Children can dress in red all week. Just for fun, but if you would like to donate to this worthy charity you can easily complete this online.

 

Easter EventThursday afternoon April 2nd, you are invited to attend around 1oclock

ALL family members welcome, the more the merrier,

  • Easter egg hunt, we will divide the children into small groups of children and parents to complete the hunt safely, then Karen or Craig will present them with their chocolate Easter egg.

  • Egg and spoon races to – for the children and the big children (adults!!)

  • Hat/bonnet competition, time for your child to get creative – please decorate anything that can be worn on their head with seasonal items.

  • Children’s performance – Easter songs

  • Colouring, arts and crafts will be available on the day – Last Day OF Term!!

School Admissions

If your child is due to start school in September 2026, you will be offered your school placement on Thursday 16th April stating which school your child has successfully been accepted into. Please let Karen or Craig know, so we can liaise with the schools.
